Ordering & Shipping

The normal shipping season is April to October.  At special request, we may be able to ship earlier, later, or during the winter depending on the weather conditions in a given year. Plants ordered November-March will be shipped beginning in April.

We try to ship promptly, and orders are shipped in the order they are received.  We typically ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during the normal shipping season.  If ordered early enough in the week, the plants usually ship that week, and will ship the following week if ordered later in the week.

We ship via United States Post Office priority mail.  Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Local pickup is available. Please select that option at check out or email me.

We are located in Virginia, and can currently only ship plants to the United States.

What You Will Receive:

You will receive a starter plant that is well rooted and ready to plant in the ground or to transplant into a larger container.  To minimize shipping costs, plants typically ship in a 2.5” pot, but some may come in a 4″ pot.

We do our best to maintain an accurate inventory.  If for some reason we do not have something you ordered we will contact you and let you know when that variety should be available again, and offer either to ship it when it becomes available, or to ofer a refund or a substitution of your choice.
