Live Plant FAQ
What Will I Receive?
You will receive a starter plant that is well rooted and ready to plant in the ground or to transplant into a larger container. To minimize shipping costs, plants typically ship in a 2.5” pot, but some may come in a 4″ pot. The image to the left is an example of the plants we ship. Vine length may vary depending on time of year, variety, and popularity of the variety.
All of our plants are grown in a humid, climate controlled greenhouse under shade. Please place plants in a shady location to allow them to acclaimed for a few days before planting them in full sun. Also, to ensure your success, please read our guide on how to care for Passiflora before they arrive.
What If We Don’t Have What You Ordered?
We do our best to maintain an accurate inventory.
If for some reason we do not have something you ordered we will contact you to let you know when that variety should be available again. If we are out of stock you may choose to have the variety shipped when available, chose a substitution or choose to have your money refunded.
If you want a substitution or to have the variety shipped when available, please make sure to respond to an email from us regarding this topic. Failure to do so will result in the unavailable product being refunded.
Live Plant Shipping Questions?
How Do We Ship?
In an attempt to balance delivery speed with keeping shipping costs low for our customers, we mainly ship via UPS Ground. UPS Ground delivers in 1-5 business days depending on the zone. However, we also ship via United States Post Office Priority Mail. We recommend upgrading shipping to Priority if you live in the red or orange portions of the map below. If you require a different shipping method, such as express or a signature, please contact us before placing your order so that we can get you an accurate shipping quote.

During our normal shipping season we try to ship promptly, while allowing for plants to arrive without sitting on a truck or in a warehouse over a weekend. Purchases are shipped in the order they are received, and also based on distance/shipping zone.

If you live in zone 4 or 5 your order would ship the Monday following when you placed it. Zone 3 will ship Monday or Tuesday of the week following when your order was placed.
